Prayer & Praise

Our ministry is only as effective as the amount of prayer that goes into it. We invite you to pray with us for an ongoing work of God in the people and places we've already had contact with:

•  We would ask you to pray for each of our three children, Valerie, Jason and Ben. Each one is facing personal challenges this year, financially, physically, and spiritually. It can be a daunting task for missionaries to maintain effectiveness when their children are facing crises.
•  Pray for one of our graduates from several years ago. We were delighted to receive word that Katrin from Germany is now a missionary to... Indonesia! See her photo, above.
• God is moving among the Indonesian young people from the ecumenical embassy group.  Please continue to pray for the move of the Spirit as these young people can be the catalyst to revival among Indonesians in Belgium.

• As a followup to the Easter retreat, the wife of the Muslim man who attended the special worship service had been diagnosed with a tumor. After special prayer that night, she returned to the doctor to find that the tumor had disappeared. Praise God! Please pray that this miracle will impact her husband with the truth of the claims of Jesus.

• At one of the Indonesian churches in Holland, a Muslim lady accepted Christ about three months ago. When we were there again in November, she had invited a young Muslim man to attend church. Please pray for Harry, that he will understand the truth about Jesus and accept Him as Savior.

Future Events

We are continuing to receive invitations every weekend for ministry among Indonesian churches. Please pray for continued good health as well as protection on the highways (particularly the Autobahn in Germany!). 

We both have a heavy work load at the seminary next semester. Please pray for wisdom and renewed spiritual impact through our lives and teaching.

We will start two new marriage seminars to Indonesian/Dutch congregations this spring. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to strengthen godly marriages and heal broken ones.
